Meet Our Team

Hitesh Amin, MD FACS

Medical Director

Dr. Amin earned his MD degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. After which, he completed his general surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Amin has focused his practice in advanced minimally invasive surgery.

Nalin Dayal, MD

Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Nalin Dayal earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in Biological Sciences. He completed medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL.

Upon earning his medical degree, Dr. Dayal began his surgical residency in Brooklyn, NY. He served as Executive Chief Surgery Resident and performed over 1,000 procedures in general surgery, plastic surgery, breast surgery, minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, trauma surgery, surgical oncology, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, transplant surgery, and pediatric surgery. During this time, he was able to train under world-famous surgeons at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.

Following surgical residency, Dr. Dayal completed his fellowship in cosmetic surgery through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, learning from the best plastic and cosmetic surgeons in Tampa, FL. His training is specialized in breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, abdominoplasty, body contouring, facial surgery, and non-surgical treatments, including laser, Botox®, and fillers.

Dr. Dayal has studied the latest trends in cosmetic surgery in Florida, as well as more traditional procedures to provide comprehensive surgical services. He’s completed thousands of cosmetic surgery procedures throughout his career, blending art and science to create transformative results for his patients.

Gemma Bucci

Operations Manager, Care Coordinator

Gemma serves as the practices Operations Manager and Care Coordinator.

Gemma has worked with in the health care field for 30 years, and in many capacities with Hitesh Amin, MD since 2014.

Gemma offers one-on-one customer service for our patients at Transform Bariatrics, LLC, with the ultimate goal of seeing patients become successful with their weight loss journey.

Wanda Hoover

Care Coordinator

Wanda has worked to help patients at all points of the medical and surgical continuum of care. Wanda serves as referral a nd patient care coordinator, helping each patient get access to the care they deserve.

Michele Phulsuksombati, MS, MEd, RD, LDN

Bariatric Dietician

Michele Phulsuksombati is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, with a master’s degree in Nutrition Education.

Michele has served as the Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist for Transform Bariatrics, LLC since its inception. Throughout her clinical and work practice, Michele found her passion in helping patients with a variety of illnesses learn how to manage their weight and disease symptoms with Medical Nutrition Therapy. She helps her patients understand how obesity is significantly caused by poor nutrition and food choices.

Michele passionately teaches her patients that choosing the right foods will improve their quality of life and educates her patients on proper nutrition practices with tailored programs to facilitate positive patient outcomes.
